Channel Marine Services Inc. was established in 1995 as a full line service center located along the Multnomah Channel in Portland Oregon. 

As the business grew, a new facility was built in 2001. This facility offers access by water with a boat ramp and boat yard along the Multnomah Channel with easy access to the shop building along Haighway30.

Gregory Van Sickle, owner of Channel Marine Services, has a background in the marine industry going back 25 years including boat building, service management and mechanical repair.

At Channel Marine our company motto is "Excellence In Service, Repair, Products and Solutions."  Our technicians and service manger are certified and Master Certified in our product lines. As a full line service center we offer the best products and services that can be offered in a one stop service center, making it easy for our customers to optimize their boating fun while getting fast, friendly, professional services.

In 2004, Channel Marine became a distributor for Steyr Motors Marine Diesel Engines, for Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska and British Columbia. Stery Motors offers a superior marine diesel engine, which is a great option for re-power and for new boat construction.
